CHICKEN EXTENDED CONCERT 2.0
Revival of the legendary chicken concerts of the Klammer&Gründler Duo.A living chicken extended the duo to a trio for two concerts in Graz 1988 (Jazz M59 / gamsbArt) and Klagenfurt 1989 (Unikum).
These were the first performances of chicken-driven sampling-based music on stage.
Twenty-two years later there is now a new edition in an extended ensemble with Elisabeth Harnik and the 6 chickens of the Kunsthaltestelle Steckhammerhaus.
Grains are scattered on ground sensors in the chicken enclosure, the chickens peck at them, triggering sounds and short sequences.
Not random, but unpredictable!
